Sam is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our portfolio companies and investments.

Possessing vast experience in international aviation & global logistics gained over nearly two decades in the global airline industry, Sam was the Country Manager (Cameroun) for Kenya Airways/KLM. There, he led the turnaround of the business by reopening country operations, increasing capacity and revenue by multiple folds, thereby gaining #1 market share for the airline in the country. In 2007, he was appointed Area Vice President (Europe & USA), where he worked from the London office, managing revenues of over $300 million and representing the airline on the SkyTeam Alliance board.

Sam holds a BA in History and International Relations from Lagos State University and has attended several executive management programs on corporate leadership and general management. He is an alumnus of the Université de Paris, Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School. Besides English, Sam is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Gbolahan Shaba is the Chief Operating Officer at LATC where he drives the day-to-day execution of strategy across all of the Group’s businesses. He has overall responsibility for driving organizational efficiency, including the establishment and development of key external partnerships and alliances. He sits on the board of all LATC Group companies.

Gbolahan has over 20 years of experience in strategy formulation, transaction execution, project management in the financial services and energy sectors. He has worked with various organisations to successfully raise growth and expansion capital in excess of US$1 billion. He led the Marine business from inception and helped to secure over US$44m of debt financing for the acquisition of marine vessels from Damen Shipyards in the Netherlands. Through his leadership, he has established the business as one of the leading marine service providers in the upstream oil & gas industry. He continues to drive the adoption of technology across the group to enhance and streamline our business process. Gbolahan also worked with the Shipowners Association of Nigeria as a General Secretary, helping to liaise with various regulatory authorities to shape policy and address issues affecting the maritime industry.

Gbolahan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Business and Management in Emerging Markets from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. He has attended several trainings and conferences including the Harvard Business School Senior Executive Program Africa in 2016.

Oliver is the Chief Financial Officer of LATC where he oversees the accounting, financial reporting, and financial management functions across our businesses.

Oliver has over 19 years multi-sector experience in Aviation, Shipping, Marine, IT, Finance, Consulting, & Public Sector with a track record of pioneering new businesses across different industries.

Prior to joining LATC, he was Finance Manager at A.P. Moeller-Maersk where he was responsible for the financial accounting unit.

Oliver holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom and a Masters from the University of London. Oliver is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), as well as an Associate of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountant (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI). He has attended international conferences and trainings including the Advanced Executive Program at the London School of Economics

Abisola is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel for a wide range of corporate, commercial, financial and corporate governance matters across the group. As the Group’s Company Secretary, she drives and implements good corporate governance practices, procedures and polices for the business by monitoring and ensuring compliance. She provides advice on the alignment of business strategy, governance, legislation and policies.

Abisola has garnered extensive experience on various aspect of the law in the Maritime, Agricultural and Retail sectors of the Nigerian Economy. She advises on relevant principles, techniques, terminology, legislation and regulatory underpinnings the Group’s focal sector by ensuring that contractual risks to the business are minimised, whilst delivering consistent and fully compliant services within a demanding environment.

Abisola graduated from the University of Lagos where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree(LL.B Hons). She was admitted to the Nigerian Bar and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She obtained her Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in Petroleum Law and Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland UK. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).Abisola has attended several conferences, workshops and executive management programs on corporate leadership, Corporate commercial law, finance and corporate governance.

Yomi oversees LATC's most valuable asset: human capital. He is responsible for driving overall human capital strategy, leadership development, succession planning as well as creating an enabling working environment where people can realize their full potentials and deliver on strategic objectives.

His industry experience spans different sectors of the Nigerian economy including Financial Services, Healthcare, Logistics, Distribution, E-commerce, Tourism, Real Estate, Marine, Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Retail and Consulting.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Master of Business Administration (with specialization in Strategy) from the University of Lagos. Yomi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria,a certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) from the Balanced Scorecard Institute, USA and a Senior Professional in International Human Resources(SPHRi) certified by Human Resource Certification Institute, USA.

Kingsley is responsible for driving the Group’s strategy including venture formation, business transformation and providing support to our portfolio businesses. He brings to the role, extensive global experience in framing and implementing business strategy.

Prior to joining LATC, he led several high-profile transformation projects as a management consultant at Deloitte. His experience spans corporate transformation, business model design, due diligence, corporate & digital strategy and performance evaluation for large corporates.

Kingsley holds a B.Sc., in Economics and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business. He is also a certified Project Manager(PRINCE 2) and Scrum Master (SAFE, CSM).
